NHF in collaboration with the Institute of Asian Studies (IAS) at Chulalongkorn University held a constructive meeting with Director-General of the Department of East Asian Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on 13 March 2024. The objective of the meeting was to gain insights into the national policies and strategic considerations surrounding humanitarian assistance to Myanmar. In addition, NHF and IAS expressed their interest in exploring potential contributions, particularly in the fields of public health and academic collaboration and commitment to supporting these efforts and facilitating the necessary coordination to address pressing public health challenges in the region.
