NHF and partners at the Health Intervention and Technology Assessment Program (HITAP) are currently supporting a group of multi-disciplinary researchers in conducting various population size estimate and health and economic impact studies aimed at better understanding the situation regarding medical marijuana use in Thailand, the first country in Southeast Asia to legalize medical marijuana use. All regions of the country (central, northern, northeast, and southern) are represented in the project studies, with research partners coming from diverse geographic locations.
